These Terms of Service (“Terms”) cover your access to and use of the Career Funeral™ survey experience and related content (the “Services”). By creating an account, starting the survey, or viewing your personalised report you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Services.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • Please notify us promptly at support@careerfuneral.com if you suspect unauthorised access or believe your account has been compromised.

2. Use of the Services

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to access the survey and supporting materials for personal reflection and growth. Unless permitted in writing, you may not:

  • Reproduce, publish, or distribute the survey content or personalised report beyond your private use.
  • Use the Services to develop a competing diagnostic or coaching experience.
  • Interfere with the operation of the Services or attempt to access areas you are not authorised to access.
  • Misrepresent your identity or provide false information during the survey.

3. Fees & Payments

  • Some participants access the survey via a paid invitation from a coach or organisation. Where payment is required, fees are disclosed during sign-up.
  • Unless we expressly state otherwise, fees are non-refundable once the survey experience has begun because reports are produced on demand.
  • If you receive access through a sponsor (for example, your employer), that sponsor is responsible for payment and authorising your participation.

4. Reports & Guidance

  • The diagnostic outputs, guidance, and next-step suggestions are designed for self-reflection. They are not legal, medical, or financial advice.
  • Your report may include recommendations to explore with a coach or mentor. You remain responsible for decisions you make based on the insights.
  • We may use anonymised and aggregated response data to improve the survey instrument and learning resources.

5. Privacy

  • We handle personal information according to the Career Funeral Privacy Policy.
  • You retain ownership of the reflective content you submit. By using the Services, you grant us permission to process that content for the purpose of generating your report and improving the experience.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in behaviour that:

  • Harasses or harms other participants or team members.
  • Introduces malware, disrupts the Services, or attempts unauthorised access.
  • Violates applicable law or infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

7. Suspension & Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Services in a way that could harm others.
  • You may close your account at any time by contacting support@careerfuneral.com. Certain organisational agreements may require notice.
  • Sections relating to privacy, intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability will survive termination.

8. Disclaimers & Liability

  • The Services provide developmental guidance only. They are not a substitute for professional advice tailored to your individual circumstances.
  • The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Career Funeral’s total liability for claims arising from the Services is limited to the amounts you paid (if any) during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Austin, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect new features or legal requirements. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where practical, notify you by email or within the Services. Continuing to use the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
